All the comforting flavors of a cheeseburger come together in this one-pan pasta dish. Juicy ground beef, melty cheddar, tender noodles, and a hint of burger sauce make this a weeknight winner.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 preferred)
1 yellow onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups short pasta (elbows, shells, or rotini)
3 cups beef broth
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 oz cream cheese
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp yellow mustard
1/4 cup chopped dill pickles (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned, about 6–8 minutes.

  • Stir in garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.

  • Add pasta and beef broth. Stir, bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer 10–12 minutes until pasta is tender.

  • Lower heat and mix in cream cheese until smooth.

  • Gradually stir in shredded cheddar until creamy.

  • Add ketchup and mustard. Mix well.

  • Stir in pickles or use as garnish.

  • Serve hot.
