Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta is a bold, comforting dish with tender spiced chicken, rich cream sauce, and perfectly cooked pasta. A restaurant-quality meal you can make at home in under 40 minutes.

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning, divided
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Slice chicken into strips and toss with 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning.

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup pasta water.

  • Heat oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side. Remove.

  • In the same skillet, sauté bell peppers for 3–4 minutes.

  • Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Pour in cream and broth. Simmer 2–3 minutes.

  • Stir in Parmesan and remaining Cajun seasoning. Simmer until slightly thickened.

  • Add chicken and pasta to sauce. Toss to coat, adding pasta water if needed.

  • Season to taste. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
