This Creamy Garlic Chicken recipe features golden pan-seared chicken breasts simmered in a rich, garlicky cream sauce. An easy one-pan meal that’s packed with flavor and perfect for dinner any night of the week.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 6 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional)

  • Chopped parsley or thyme, for garnish

Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper, then coat lightly in flour.

  • Heat oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  • Reduce heat. Sauté garlic until fragrant (1–2 minutes).

  • Pour in chicken broth, scraping the pan. Add cream and simmer 5–6 minutes. Stir in Parmesan if using.

  • Return chicken to the skillet. Simmer, covered, for 10–12 minutes until fully cooked.

  • Garnish with herbs and serve hot.
