This Creamy Garlic Chicken recipe features golden pan-seared chicken breasts simmered in a rich, garlicky cream sauce. An easy one-pan meal that’s packed with flavor and perfect for dinner any night of the week.
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and black pepper, to taste
¼ cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional)
Chopped parsley or thyme, for garnish
Season chicken with salt and pepper, then coat lightly in flour.
Heat oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Reduce heat. Sauté garlic until fragrant (1–2 minutes).
Pour in chicken broth, scraping the pan. Add cream and simmer 5–6 minutes. Stir in Parmesan if using.
Return chicken to the skillet. Simmer, covered, for 10–12 minutes until fully cooked.
Garnish with herbs and serve hot.
