A hearty, layered crockpot meal made with ground beef, sliced potatoes, onions, creamy mushroom soup, and melted cheddar. Slow-cooked to perfection for a cozy, filling dinner.

Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef
4 medium russet potatoes, thinly sliced
1 medium yellow onion, thinly sliced
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Butter or cooking spray

Instructions

  • Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain and set aside.

  • Thinly slice potatoes and onions.

  • Mix soup and milk in a bowl until smooth.

  • Grease slow cooker insert.

  • Layer 1/3 of potatoes, onions, and beef. Season, pour soup mixture, and sprinkle cheese.

  • Repeat layers twice, finishing with cheese on top.

  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3.5–4 hours.

  • Let rest 10–15 minutes before serving.
