This garlic Parmesan chicken pasta is a light, creamy dish made with lean chicken breast, whole grain pasta, and a flavorful garlic-Parmesan sauce — perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • 23 garlic cloves, minced

  • 8 oz whole wheat pasta

  • ½ cup low-fat milk or chicken broth

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Optional: red pepper flakes, fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

  • Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water.

  • Heat oil in a pan and sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Set aside.

  • In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.

  • Add milk or broth to deglaze. Simmer, then stir in Parmesan until smooth.

  • Slice chicken and return to pan with drained pasta. Toss everything together.

  • Serve hot, topped with more cheese and parsley if desired.
