This garlic Parmesan chicken pasta is a light, creamy dish made with lean chicken breast, whole grain pasta, and a flavorful garlic-Parmesan sauce — perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner.
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2–3 garlic cloves, minced
8 oz whole wheat pasta
½ cup low-fat milk or chicken broth
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Optional: red pepper flakes, fresh parsley
Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water.
Heat oil in a pan and sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
Add milk or broth to deglaze. Simmer, then stir in Parmesan until smooth.
Slice chicken and return to pan with drained pasta. Toss everything together.
Serve hot, topped with more cheese and parsley if desired.
