1 lb ground turkey (93% lean)
1 egg
1/3 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
2 green onions, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbsp avocado or olive oil
For the Sauce:
1/3 cup honey
3 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, green onion, garlic, tamari, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
Form into 18–20 small meatballs.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides, about 6–8 minutes.
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, tamari, vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water.
Add sauce to skillet, cover, and simmer for 7–8 minutes until sauce thickens and meatballs are cooked through.
Serve warm with rice, noodles, or vegetables.
