Smashburger Quesadillas bring together crispy smashed beef, melted cheese, fresh toppings, and a golden tortilla for a quick, flavorful meal that satisfies every craving.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)

  • Salt and pepper

  • 8 small flour tortillas

  • 1½ cups shredded cheese (American, cheddar, or blend)

  • ½ cup pickles, sliced

  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion

  • Shredded lettuce and diced tomato (optional)

  • Burger sauce or condiment of choice

Instructions

  • Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Form beef into small balls. Place in skillet and smash flat. Season and cook 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  • On one half of each tortilla, layer cheese, a patty, toppings, sauce, and more cheese. Fold the tortilla in half.

  • Toast folded quesadillas on medium heat until golden brown on both sides and cheese is melted.

  • Let rest briefly before slicing and serving.
