1 lb lean ground beef
1 tablespoon neutral oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
¼ cup soy sauce (low-sodium)
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 cups cooked rice
2 green onions, sliced
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Cook rice and keep warm.
Heat oil in a skillet and brown ground beef. Drain excess fat if needed.
Add garlic and ginger; cook briefly until fragrant.
Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
