  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

  • ¼ cup soy sauce (low-sodium)

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 2 cups cooked rice

  • 2 green onions, sliced

  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Cook rice and keep warm.

  • Heat oil in a skillet and brown ground beef. Drain excess fat if needed.

  • Add garlic and ginger; cook briefly until fragrant.

  • Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.

  • Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the beef.
