A slow-cooked casserole made with seasoned ground beef, tender potatoes, cheese, and a creamy sauce. An easy, comforting meal that’s perfect for busy days.
1 lb ground beef
5 medium russet potatoes, thinly sliced
1 medium onion, sliced or diced
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Non-stick spray
Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat. Season lightly.
Spray the slow cooker with non-stick spray.
Layer potatoes, beef, onions, cheese, and soup. Repeat layers, ending with cheese.
Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3½–4 hours, until potatoes are tender.
Let rest briefly before serving.
