Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles combine juicy chicken, soft noodles, and a bold, garlicky glaze in one quick stir-fry. Sweet, savory, and ready in under 30 minutes — a takeout favorite made easy at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breasts or thighs, thinly sliced

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (for marinating)

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

  • 8 oz noodles (egg, rice, or spaghetti)

  • 2 tbsp neutral oil (vegetable or canola)

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • ¼ cup soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 2 tbsp water

  • Optional: green onions, sesame seeds, chili flakes

Instructions

  • Combine chicken with 1 tbsp soy sauce and cornstarch. Let sit 10 minutes.

  • Whisk together remaining soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and water.

  • Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse.

  • Heat oil in a skillet or wok. Stir-fry chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove.

  • In the same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

  • Return chicken to the pan. Add sauce and simmer 2 minutes until slightly thickened.

  • Toss in cooked noodles and stir until everything is coated and sticky.

  • Serve hot, topped with optional garnishes.
